Mating Compatibility
If you want to mate your dog, you must try to reduce the chances of transmission of genetic diseases to the offsprings. We identify not only diseases that will affect your dog but also recessive genes acting as carrier conditions which might not impact the health of your dog but can be transmitted to puppies. By identifying positive and carrier conditions, you can take wiser mating decisions and help us increase the average lifespan of our best friends!

Easy 3-Step process
Swab to collect Sample
Gently swab the cheek pouches of your dog for 30-50s to collect their saliva. Break the tip of the swab and keep it in the collection tube. Repeat the process with the second swab and seal the tube.
Schedule a Pickup
Keep the tube in the sealable pouch provided and schedule a pickup with us. Note: Pickup has to be scheduled within 6 months of sample collection.

After placing an order, a kit with the swab and instructions for testing will be delivered to your doorstep. Once you have collected the sample, kindly schedule a pick up and our representative will pick up the sample and we will process the sample in our lab.
Our typical turnaround time is 4-6 weeks.
Your dog’s results will be delivered via email in the form of a printable / downloadable / shareable PDF.

If our lab technicians discover that there is not enough DNA on the swab, we’ll send you a replacement swab at no additional cost.
The test remains safe for months once the DNA collection tube is shut. Once the collection tube is shut, your pet’s sample remains safe for months as the liquid inside stabilises the saliva.

For the 130+ genetic conditions we screen for, the report will be valid for the entirety of the dog’s life. However, a negative result does not imply that the dog cannot get that particular disease. It only implies that the dog is not genetically predisposed to the markers UA has screened for. He/she can still get the disease due to other factors.
